Are there efficiencies in the way an Open Text Fax Server, RightFax Edition fax server works that will reduce the number of phone lines (or the phone expense) while supporting my current level of fax usage?
In most companies, fax machines are located in convenient locations rather than in high volume locations. They have more fax machines than they need, but they attempt to justify the investment by reasoning that no one has to walk very far to reach a fax machine. A fax server allows companies to utilize all the trunk lines in a central location and then simply route faxes to the appropriate person. It would not be unreasonable for a company to be able to cut the number of fax machines in half simply by installing a fax server with only half the number of lines currently in use. By the way: most companies don't renew the leases on all those fax machines they've been leasing for the last five years.

Will a Open Text Fax Server, RightFax Edition fax server eliminate the need for all my fax machines?
Not necessarily. SNAPS Inc's Paper Kinetics division will never recommend change for the sake of change. We will conduct a thorough study of your existing business processes and existing technology. But even if you were to continue deploying stand-alone fax machines, the costs savings in labor alone can more than justify the implementation of a fax server.
